After branding their men’s clothing store, Bella & Wren hired me to design their online e-commerce store and firm up their branding. I enjoyed working with Shopify and taking the project from UX research to hi-fi prototyping and onto development.

Simple and bold package design for Anewall Decor. Making the customer experience sing from beginning to the very end.
Branding that I created for the Create Conference that happens annually in my dreams. Yes it is a passion project. I wanted to experiment with print design and get to express my personal style as the user demographic for this conference.
I used a typeface that is a combination of blackletter and calligraphic forms to create a modern look that harkens back to days of old. I wanted the conference to be about knowing your 'roots’ as an artist. The history of the artistic career and why society has always needed artists.
Responsive Web Design
Come away and discover an enchanting web experience about an enchantingly simple part of the world. The place where minimalism was born, folklore runs wild, and beauty is hiding. To create a tourism campaign and responsive website for Northern Sweden, commonly known as Norrland, was a joy to delve into. It is where my grandmother and mother were born and it was a special creative journey for me. I was able to experiment with a creative on-boarding system and a navigation that toggles between two sister-sites. And developing a campaign for my target user demographic (pre-retirement couples) was especially fascinating. Read the full case study to discover more of the hidden beauty.

Working with creative director, Kay Barnes was such a dream. Her unique dance studio which incorporates cross disciplinary avenues of creativity required branding that was just as unique. We went through many iterations but we wanted to create something that would excite and translate the concept to children, but also exist in a modern world and appeal to their parents.
Client: Crossmaneuver Studios

Through Glass Canvas, I got to design the poster for the annual event at the Gardens of Gethsemane, Hallowtide. It’s a Catholic candle-lit celebration that occurs over the winter/fall season. We wanted to create a piece that captured the history and mood through unique visual elements. I supplied an original digital illustration and drew out the “hallowtide” letter forms myself which we had gold foiled for an extra luminous effect.
It was an honour to be on the UX/UI team, developing an exciting app for The Academy of Tomorrow. Our team of 4 designers worked closely with CEO Lital Marom to develop a clean and progressive system that connects young, growth-minded individuals with the opportunities to be seen by large corporations, beyond what a resume can offer. The UI design centred around an attitude of ambition and hopefulness and had to appeal to two different user demographics; the corporate HR representative, and the young ambitious student. This project is currently in development.

Branding the men’s clothing store, Fort and Company was a fun project. The branding was simple and stemmed from the logo design. I worked with the store owners on the concept of community and also the first nations land on which the store resides. It is in a small town in British Columbia called FORT Langley. The logo features two mountains to illustrate the mountainous region of BC.
I created glass decals for their windows, print materials, and even worked with a metal worker to create the logo in a large metal sculpture for the store.
Creating an advertisement for the Catholic Cemeteries, burial plan was a unique experience. Fitting underneath their branding criteria, I worked with the Creative Director at Glass Canvas to create a piece that communicated an urgency to take action and make a burial plan.
This is a snippet illustration from a type specimen I made for the amazing gaspipe typeface, tungsten. I wanted to capture tungsten’s history that stems from early soviet propaganda posters and make imagery that calls your attention. Just like tungsten.
Marketing Branding
I worked with a team of digital marketers to bring the honeycomb app to the targeted user demographic more successfully. To clarify, I did not do any UI design for this app (what you can see in the prototype mock up). I designed and branded the ads that surround and promote the interface.
I wanted to make the branding sleek and contemporary for a younger audience who would actually use the app to find vegan and other alternative food solutions when they eat out.
The assets were well received by the client and I was really happy with the mood we created.
A favourite design that I created for Anewall Decor. This design features contemporary, clean, oversized florals and was created entirely in Adobe Illustrator.

Another favourite design that I created for Anewall Decor. I worked with the Creative Director to create a piece that evoked a fresh whimsical feel. We wanted to make an intricate repeat pattern in which you couldn’t determine where the pattern started over again.
This piece required an expertise in colour, texture and pattern design. It was made entirely in Photoshop and Illustrator.
In August 2017, it was featured in IKEA Canada’s showroom.
Working with Glass Canvas on the cover for the FOCUS bible study curriculum was a fun project. We wanted to the branding to stand out and feel different from other out-dated, cringe-worthy, pamphlet evoking aesthetics. By adding simple line drawings and bold type, we created a simple and elegant brand experience.

This repeat pattern is a retake on old Victorian salons and parlours. With oversized botanicals, we wanted to create an elaborate, whimsical pattern that would whisk you away to the English countryside. I may or may not have been binge watching Downton Abbey when designing this.
This was created entirely in Photoshop and Illustrator.
